The Book of Boba Fett is covered by Empire in Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett.

The Mandalorian’s Season 2 finale featured the first tease of Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fettin in a mid-credits scene, but a pair of new Empire Magazine covers remind us that the marketing campaign for the upcoming series is ramping up.

As with most Empire covers, there will be a standard retail cover and a cover exclusive to subscribers, with artwork by Max Löffler on the subscriber cover.

The Book of Boba Fett premieres on Disney(plus) on December 29th, and the new issue of the magazine will be available on newsstands on November 25th.

The Book of Boba Fett, a thrilling Star Wars adventure teased in a surprise end-credit sequence following The Mandalorian’s Season 2 finale, follows legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand as they navigate the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.

Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen star in The Book of Boba Fett.

Executive producers are Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson.

Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck are co-executive producers, with John Bartnicki producing and John Hampian serving as a co-producer.

Boba Fett returned to Jabba’s Palace to claim the former gangster’s throne, with Fennec Shand by his side, in the first tease of this adventure.

Ming-Na Wen, who plays Shand, previously discussed how the upcoming spinoff compares to The Mandalorian.

Wen teased ComicBook.com, “There will probably be some similarities.”

That, I believe, already gives the show a distinct quality.

That’s about all I have to say.”

Robert Rodriguez, who directed both The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett, expressed his enthusiasm for the new series.

When asked about the new series, Rodriguez joked with The Nerdy Basement, “I’ve got so much to tell you about that, but I’m out of time.”

“I’m sworn to silence, so I can’t say anything about it.”

I can say that I’m working on it, and I can promise you that it will blow your mind.
