In this new family roast promo, the Jonas Brothers are roasting by the announcer.
This Thanksgiving, it’s not just the turkey that’s in jeopardy.
Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas are preparing for the Jonas Brothers Family Roast in November.
Kenan Thompson, an Emmy-nominated comedian, will host the show on September 23.
There’s a long list of celebrities roasting the brothers, from Pete Davidson to Niall Horan, and from the looks of this E! exclusive clip, even the announcer wants in on the fun.
“The Jonas Brothers, pop culture icons, music superstars,” the announcer exclaims as the trio strides toward the stage.
“And they can’t see the light because they’re so high up in their own arses.”
“Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa
“They are Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum recording artists with countless awards and accolades,” he continues.
But, let’s be honest, a Grammy nomination isn’t the same as a Grammy win, right?”
You are correct, but you did not have to say so.
The announcer might have also revealed one of Joe’s childhood secrets, which would have been a terrible thing to do.
“They’re a global tour de force,” he says, “playing concerts to tens of thousands of adoring fans night after night.”
“However, did you know that Joe once peed his pants at school and had to call his mother to come get him?”
This all-seeing, all-knowing voice is ruthless.
Gabriel Iglesias, John Legend, Lilly Singh, Blake Shelton, and Jack Whitehall are among the other guests, as are the Jonas brothers’ wives Danielle Jonas, Sophie Turner, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
But the real question is: Will Frankie Jonas, the bonus Jonas, be present? (Hey, we can all roast together, right?)
On November 1st, The Jonas Brothers Family Roast will air.
23 is a Netflix original film.
