Jake Gyllenhaal’s Reported Reaction to Taylor Swift’s ‘All Too Well’ Re-Release Has Been Revealed

The resurgence of Taylor Swift’s song “All Too Well,” which is reportedly about their breakup, garnered a lot of attention for Jake Gyllenhaal this month.

According to E! News, Gyllenhaal is completely unconcerned about the song, the new music video, and all the fan speculation.

Hopefully, this doesn’t further enrage fans.

A source close to Gyllenhaal stated, “Jake has no interest in any of it.”

“He’s not interested in gossip and doesn’t read it.”

He’s going about his business and concentrating on himself.

Gyllenhaal and Swift dated for about three months in 2010, and “All Too Well” was released on Swift’s album Red in 2012.

Based on a few context clues at the time, it was assumed that it was about Gyllenhaal, and the new extended version of the song drops even more hints.

Swift completely re-recorded Red for a new album titled Red (Taylor’s Version).

To get out of her old record contract, the singer had to re-record all of her old music, and she used the opportunity to turn “All Too Well” into a 10-minute ballad, complete with a 15-minute short film starring Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien.

Fans have been deconstructing the lyrics and relating them to real life, and the new verses and short film are full of Easter eggs hinting that the song’s subject is Gyllenhaal.

Swift and Gyllenhaal, like the characters in the song, had a significant age gap, and the song mentions an “actress,” which some have speculated is Gyllenhaal’s sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Fans have speculated that this song – and the entire Red album – is about Gyllenhaal, but Swift has never confirmed or denied this.

In a 2013 interview with New York Magazine, she stated that she had heard from the subject of the songs.

“He said, ‘I just finished listening to the album, and it was a bittersweet experience for me.’

‘It was like looking through a photo album,’ she said.

“Much nicer than this one dude’s ranting, crazy e-mails.”

All of Swift’s music from her six studio albums with Big Machine Records is being re-recorded.

The label, along with all the original masters, was sold to Scooter Braun’s company Ithaca Holdings when that contract expired…
