JET2 has launched bargain holiday deals this summer, with cheap flights to Spain from just £30.
The airline has launched the cheap deals in time for the busy holiday season, with last minute flights this month as well as in August.
You can fly to Ibiza next month for just £30 from Birmingham, with cheap deals to other Spanish hotspots such as Lanzarote, Majorca and Gran Canaria for similar prices.
Other Jet2 bargains include Pula in Croatia, for just £30 each way, along with Split and Dubrovnik.
Budapest and Amsterdam are on sale for less than £35, while similar prices can be found for flights to Faro in Portugal – although caution is advised as an air bridge between the UK and Portugal is yet to be established.
Spanish flights are some of the most popular this summer, with fares being some of the lowest during the peak season in years.
Paul Charles, of travel consultancy the PC Agency, told the Mirror that airlines are having to “pump the market” to try and encourage people to fly again.
He added: “I have never seen prices this low in the peak season in all my experience.”
Jet2 is also the latest airline to offer coronavirus protection with its travel insurance.
This includes testing positive for coronavirus 14 days before travelling, or if catching the virus on holiday.
However, you are not covered if you decide not to travel, yet travel is allowed, or if the area goes into lockdown on holiday.
They state: “This is called disinclination to travel.
“This is because however valid you feel your reason is for not wanting to take the trip, it is still your choice as to whether to go. An insurer will not pay any claim for that reason.”
TUI will also cover all medical and travel costs if you catch coronavirus on holiday.
