Kate Moss, Heidi Klum & Claudia Schiffer set pulses racing in pics for iconic fashion photographer Ellen Von Unwerth

KATE Moss, David Bowie and Heidi Klum feature in a stunning new photography exhibition by legendary snapper Ellen Von Unwerth.

The striking shots span fashion photographer Ellen’s career in which she has continually celebrated women.

A 2003 snap of German model Heidi sees her walking in the foothills of the Alps in Kitzbuhel, Austria, wearing red stockings and suspenders.

The America’s Got Talent star wears her blonde hair in bunches and a frilled vintage top rests neatly on top of her bum.

In the same year, Ellen shot rock god David Bowie with Kate Moss for Q Magazine.

With an angry look on his face, a besuited Bowie raises his hand to the camera as Kate, wearing a red dress, clings to his waist.

Another shot of Kate from a 1995 edition of Vogue US sees her looking glamorous in a silk negligee as she drinks a carton of milk straight from the fridge.

Ellen captured Claudia Schiffer for fashion brand Guess in two separate sessions in 1989 and 1990, respectively.

A black and white shot taken in Mykonos, Greece, sees the leggy beauty peering out of a doorway in her underwear.

While a close-up shot in Morocco the year before sees her fixing the camera with a smouldering gaze.

The model was popular with Ellen, gracing her camera lens again in 1991 for US Vogue.

That same year Ellen photographed Naomi Campbell for Interview Magazine in Los Angeles.

The supermodel curled her hair using soft drink cans as she held a phone up to her ear.

Ellen, 66, started off her career as an aspiring model in her home country of Germany before deciding she had greater control on the other side of the lens.

As well as her work in fashion she has an extensive list of collaborations with music artists.

She shot the cover art for albums including Britney Spears’ Blackout, Dido’s Life For Rent, Christina Aguilera’s Back To Basics and Rihanna’s Rated R.

Ellen Von Unwerth’s photographs are part of Opera Gallery’s post-lockdown Masterpiece Exhibition runs from 4th – 25th July 2020, at Opera Gallery, 134 New Bond Street, W1S 2TF, London. For more information visit www.operagallery.com
