Khloe Kardashian’s Thoughts on “Unsolicited Commentary” on Parenting

How Khloe Kardashian Really Feels About “Unsolicited Parental Commentary”

When you’re Khloe Kardashian, there are a lot of people who have an opinion about you.

In a new interview, the reality star opened up about her new social media strategy and how she handles online speculation about her daughter, True.

Khloe Kardashian rose to fame by sharing her personal life with the world, but she’s hit her limit.

The 37-year-old mom discussed the minefield of social media and how she navigates it in a new interview with Cosmopolitan UK, particularly when it comes to her 3-year-old daughter True Thompson.

“I’ve learned that you can’t just post anything,” she told the magazine, “because people will comment and say the craziest things!”

The reality star cited a video of her daughter talking and eating cut-up grapes as an example.

“People were saying, ‘Cut the grapes, she’ll choke.’ And I was like, ‘They’re cut!'” she remembered.

“I won’t allow my child to choke.”

Kardashian has finally realized that there is no such thing as an online victory.

“No matter what you do, people will give you unsolicited advice,” she said.

“So, for the sake of True, I try to keep things as clear and simple as possible.”

Kardashian has recently reduced her time spent on social media to less than an hour per day.

“I used to spend a lot more,” she admitted, “but I’m really good at not being on social media.”

“It makes me nervous.”

Khloe has started to take a different approach when she’s on it.

“I used to comment a lot more, but I’ve been posting and walking away for the last couple of months,” she explained.

“Sometimes it’s so dark and consuming.”

When I don’t feel emotionally strong enough, I have to recognize that and prioritize myself.”

Another way she blocks out some of the noise is by keeping certain things hidden from view.

“When I was younger, I used to share everything.

I’m not sure if it’s because I’m getting older or because I’ve become more aware and open, but you become more guarded—in a good way.

“We definitely like to keep some things for ourselves now,” she explained.

“It’s maturing.

It is permissible for you to alter your preferences.

It’d be nice to keep many of the milestones private and only release a few photos.

There are still people in our midst…
