Kit Harington of ‘Game of Thrones’ Teases What He’ll Tell His and Rose Leslie’s Son About Their Sex Scenes

Game of Thrones has captivated audiences for years with its bleak and dangerous vision of medieval-style fantasy.

Adult viewers were kept on the edge of their seats until the dreadful final season, waiting to see which of their favorite characters would be mercilessly slaughtered next.

Jon Snow, Kit Harington’s career-defining role, was a character that many people were concerned about.

Some have speculated that now that Kit Harington has a child of his own, he’ll introduce his son to the ultra-violent series — specifically, how he’ll handle the numerous sex scenes between himself and his now-wife, Rose Leslie.

Rose Leslie and Kit Harington met while filming season 2 of Game of Thrones in 2011.

Many people commented on how much more interesting the relationship between Jon Snow and Ygritte (Leslie’s character) in the series was than in the book, especially when it came to her delivery of one of the show’s most iconic lines.

When the two finally married in 2018, it came as no surprise to many.

While things didn’t work out for their characters, fans could take solace in the fact that the actors who played those characters got their own happy ending.

The two characters that Harington and Leslie ended up playing eventually started a relationship in the series, whether by coincidence or as an inside joke by the showrunners.

That meant graphic sex scenes, as per GoT law.

All things considered, they appear to have had a relatively easy time of it.

Now that they have a son, Harington and Leslie plan to show him the series when he is older, including the sex scenes featuring the boy’s parents.

Harington seems to see it as just another part of the show, as uncomfortable as it may be for some.

It might also help if not every shot of the characters (especially one from behind) was taken by the actors themselves.

“Look, I mean, you can just be thankful that it happened because otherwise you wouldn’t be here,” he joked about it in a recent interview with E! News.
