The Truth About Lady Gaga’s Reluctance to Meet Patrizia Reggiani Before Starring in House of Gucci
The story of Patrizia Reggiani may be told in House of Gucci, but for Lady Gaga, stepping into the role meant understanding the story on her own terms.
The Academy Award winner explained why she didn’t want to meet with Patrizia, the real-life inspiration for the film, who spent nearly two decades in prison for hiring a hit man to murder her ex-husband, Maurizio Gucci.
