Liam Payne’s huge Surrey mansion, which he shared with Cheryl, has finally sold for £6.5 million.

LIAM Payne’s house has finally sold, for the asking price of £6.5 million, after he listed it in September 2021.

The 28-year-old moved into the five-bedroom mansion in 2015 and sold it for a tidy £1.5 million profit.

The singer originally paid £5.2 million for the home, which he shared with his ex-wife Cheryl and their son Bear.

Liam was looking for a fresh start home with his on-again fiancée Maya Henry six years later when he listed the home, which backs onto a golf course in an exclusive Surrey neighborhood.

An outdoor pool, a private gym, a tennis court, a ‘hot yoga room,’ and a games room are all included in the stunning home.

The opulent pad also has its own cinema with a starlit ceiling and a self-contained one-bedroom annex “for staff.”

“Liam has a lot of great memories from the house, but it’s time to move on,” a source previously told MailOnline about the house sale.

“He’s looking for something new, a new chapter in his life.”

There will undoubtedly be a lot of interest in the house because it is so beautiful.”

Last year, the Georgian mansion was on the rental market for an eye-watering £8,000 per week.

Tenants who wanted to move in as part of a ‘long-term let’ could have had Liam as their landlord for £3,500 per week or £15,167 per month.

“An extraordinary house with beautiful grounds extending to almost two acres,” according to a Rightmove listing at the time.

“With a cinema and a games room, the property provides excellent living and entertaining space.”

“The main house has a fully equipped gymnasium and a hot yoga room, as well as a tennis court and a swimming pool on the grounds.”

“The house has air conditioning, CCTV, and a Crestron home automation system,” according to the listing.

“A minimum of eight cars can be parked off-street.”

In January 2015, Liam paid £5.2 million for the house when he was still a member of One Direction.

He applied for several planning permits to turn the house into a mega-mansion during his relationship with Cheryl, 36.

By adding an indoor pool, a new guest house, and a large garage to house Liam’s supercars, the couple hoped to more than double the size of their home.

The plans, however, were repeatedly rejected by the local council as “inappropriate development” because they were located in a Green Belt area.

Meanwhile, The Sun’s Bizarre exclusively revealed last month that Liam and model Maya, 21, had rekindled their romance after a series of low-key dates.

Maya has returned to the United States…
