Megan Thee Stallion’s performance at the American Music Awards in 2021 has been canceled due to an “unexpected personal matter.”

It’s a pity, because she’s a hot girl.

Megan Thee Stallion will not be performing at the American Music Awards on November 21st, 2021.

The 26-year-old rapper, who goes by the moniker “Savage,” revealed the news on Twitter the day before the ceremony.

“Hotties, I was so excited to go to the @AMAs and perform with @BTS_official,” she wrote on November 20.

“I’m so disappointed! I can’t wait to perform (hashtag)BTS_Butter on stage with my guys!”

The Texas native was supposed to perform with the K-pop superstars in May for her remix of their song “Butter.”

Earlier this year, the group performed the track for the first time at the Billboard Music Awards 2021.

Megan had a good AMAs despite having to cancel, winning several awards before the show even started.

Cardi B, Saweetie, Coi Leray, and Erica Banks were among the nominees for Favorite Female Artist – Hip-Hop.

Her debut studio album, Good News, was released in November 2020, and she also won the award for Favorite Album – Hip-Hop.

“GOOD NEWS JUST WON FAVORITE HIPHOP ALBUM OF THE YEAR AND HOTTIES WE WON FAVORITE FEMALE HIPHOP ARTIST AT THE (hashtag)AMAS thank you hotties for voting for me thank you y’all for always running it up and I can’t wait for y’all to see what’s in store for next year,” the rapper wrote on Instagram after learning of her big wins.

“Also, GOODNEWS celebrated her first birthday yesterday, and I’m very proud of her.”

For her single “Body,” the Grammy winner was nominated in a third category, Favorite Trending Song.

Megan kept busy finishing her undergraduate studies at Texas Southern University when she wasn’t racking up awards or collaborating with fellow musicians like BTS and Beyoncé this past year.

The “Captain Hook” singer is set to graduate with a degree in health administration later this year.

“I can’t wait any longer.”

In February, she told Harper’s Bazaar, “I’m going to throw the biggest graduation party ever.”

“You overcame your procrastination.”

You overcame a slew of irrational professors.

You returned home from the party the next day and went to class.

“Do you understand what I mean?”

The BET Award winner posted a picture of last month.
