Meghan Markle has ditched the glitz and glamour of her UK wardrobe in favour of her former casual style as she arrived at a women’s shelter in Vancouver on Tuesday.
The Duchess of Sussex, 38, paired a khaki parka jacket complete with faux-fur lined hood with relaxed black jeans as she made her way to Victoria Harbour Airport before boarding a seaplane for the mainland.
She added to her dressed-down look by accessorising with a relaxed black scarf and a pair of brown Le Chameau Jameson quilted boots,
Later that day, she made a surprise visit to the Downtown Eastside Women’s Center to ‘offer support’ and to ‘boost the staff’s spirits’.
In a photo posted to its Facebook page, Meghan can be seen donning a beige sweater by The Row – a look reminiscent of her pre-royal wardrobe, with fans even speculating it’s the same jumper she wore while playing Rachel Zane in Suits.
In 2017, animal lover Meghan accompanied her beloved pooch Bogart to the vet wearing a similar pair of chic skinny jeans and practical walking boots.
Taking to the snowy streets, the duchess wrapped up warm in a puffer jacket paired with a blue bobble hat.
Despite there being snow on the ground, a stylish Meghan finished off her outfit with a pair of ice cool sunglasses.
The former actress seemed to take style tips from her sister-in-law Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, with the mother-of-three often sporting Le Chameau Jameson quilted boots, like Meghan’s.
Before tying the knot to Harry in May 2018 and becoming a member of The Firm, Meghan was often snapped out and about in yoga wear, such as a pair of Lululemon leggings, and a beanie hat.
In pictures taken in early December 2017, the duchess was snapped stepping out for a yoga session in Toronto.
She braved the cold for her trip to the gym, showing off her athletic legs in cropped leggings – and opted for a black coat and woolly navy beanie to shield herself from the chilly weather.
A year earlier, she was seen heading for a workout dressed down in a pair of white sneakers and a khaki green jacket with a matching scarf.
She lugged both her yoga mat and a £1,153 Mulberry tote bag as she made her way to the studio.
The relaxed style is a far cry away from Meghan’s UK wardrobe, where she was often seen donning designer brands including the likes of Givenchy, while attending royal engagements.
