NSYNC, New Kids on the Block, Boyz II Men, and other boy bands are featured in the ABC special ‘A Very Boy Band Holiday.’


As a gift to their fans, the ABC special ‘A Very Boy Band Holiday’ wraps up NSYNC, New Kids on the Block, Boyz II Men, and more.

Christmas will be a joyous occasion for fans of classic boy bands from the 1990s and 2000s.

A Very Boy Band Holiday!, a holiday special from ABC, will feature members of *NSYNC, New Kids on the Block, Boyz II Men, 98 Degrees, New Edition, and O-Town.

Wanya Morris (Boyz II Men), Shawn Stockman (Boyz II Men), Bobby Brown (New Edition), Michael Bivins (New Edition), Joey McIntyre (NKOTB), Erik-Michael Estrada (O-Town), Nick Lachey (98 Degrees), Drew Lachey (98 Degrees), Jeff Timmons (98 Degrees), and Justin Jeffre (98 Degrees) were among those who shared the news on social media.

The supergroup will perform holiday classics as well as their respective bands’ holiday hits, according to Entertainment Tonight.

There will also be some special guests who have yet to be announced, as well as some new, original songs.

“A Very Boy Band Holiday” will be performed by Fatone and Morris, and McIntyre and his son Griffin will sing “This One’s For The Children.”

On ABC at 8 p.m., there will be a 6 at 8 p.m.

This special follows Fatone and Bass’s June collaboration with Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean and Nick Carter for the Bingo Under the Stars Pride event, which benefits The Trevor Project.

Carter told Variety, “We were just on stage going, ‘Maybe we should do a supergroup and tour and do an album.”

“Let’s let it blossom into something,” McLean said, adding that the more band members who wanted to join “the merrier.” McLean explained the complicated scheduling, saying, “Fans still want a BackstreetNSYNC tour, but it has to be all 10 of us.”

It’s the only way to make it work, so I’m sure he’d be sleeping on it if [Timberlake] didn’t do it, but he’s a father doing his thing, and I respect that.

Right now, this foursome is a dream team.”

In Las Vegas, McLean collaborated with Chris Kirkpatrick of NSYNC to debut their new collaborative single, “Air,” at the Music for Life fundraiser for the Victoria’s Voice Foundation.
