Olivia Rodrigo’s Red Carpet Debut at the American Music Awards in 2021 Wasn’t Sour

Olivia Rodrigo, who was nominated for seven awards, attended the 2021 American Music Awards in a stunning lilac sequined gown with a feathered trim that was the polar opposite of “sour.”

This red carpet look is perfect for you, we promise.

Olivia Rodrigo is the most nominated artist at the 2021 American Music Awards, and she walked the red carpet at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles looking like one of music’s biggest stars.

The 18-year-old wore a sequined lilac halter gown designed by David Koma, complete with a feathered bottom, to her AMAs debut.

The sour singer wore high-waisted briefs and silver heels underneath her dress because it was slightly see-through.

She finished off her glam look with soft waves in her long brunette hair and natural makeup.

For her smash hit “driver’s license,” the actress from High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is nominated for seven awards, including Artist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, and Favorite Trending Song.

Favorite Music Video, Favorite Pop Album, Favorite Pop Song, and Favorite Female Artist are among the other categories for which she has been nominated.

Olivia will set a new record for the most wins by a first-time nominee if she wins five of those categories.

That’s the polar opposite of brutal.

Olivia is also scheduled to perform in November.

Cardi B will host the telecast, which will also feature performances by BTS, Bad Bunny, and other artists.

Olivia’s seven AMA nominations cap off an incredible year for her, who admitted in a recent interview with Vogue Singapore that she was surprised by the success of “driver’s license.”

“Never in a million years could I have predicted the reaction it received.”

In October, she told the publication, “It completely changed my life forever.”

“Writing a song that you believe accurately expresses intense heartbreak, pain, and longing, and watching those sad feelings resonate with other people, it was an incredible experience.”
