Rain has harmed Vanessa Angel’s and her husband’s graves in the aftermath of a tragic car accident.
Heavy rains have ruined the graves of Indonesian actress Vanessa Angel and her husband, Febri “Bibi” Andriansyah, just days after they were laid to rest.
After tragically dying in a car accident on a highway in East Java, the couple was buried in the Malacca Islamic Cemetery in South Jakarta earlier this month.
Gala, their 3-year-old son, miraculously survived the accident and is expected to make a full recovery.
After a local outlet reported that the graves had been vandalized by “irresponsible people, including content creators,” caretakers at the Malacca Islamic Cemetery in South Jakarta told Malay Mail that the damage was caused by weather, not by people.
One caretaker, identified only as Heri, told the outlet that the information claiming that the graves had been damaged had “annoyed” them.
“We’ll always monitor tombs and visitors so that the graves aren’t trampled on,” Heri added, explaining that the graves were “not damaged by someone.” A second caretaker at the cemetery confirmed the gravesites have since been fixed.
“It has fallen a little, but it has been tidied up,” said the caretaker.
I’ve seen artists come to her grave to replace her photographs, while others were donated by fans.”

Angel, who debuted on the Indonesian soap opera sinetron in 2008, and her husband were tragically killed in a car accident on Thursday, Nov.
On a stretch of the Nganjuk-Surabaya highway in East Java, four cars collided.
When the vehicle hit a concrete wall, the driver, Tubagus Joddy, lost control. The two were traveling with three others, including their son and his caretaker.
Angel and her husband were both pronounced dead at the scene, according to East Java Police’s head of public relations, Kombes Gatot Repli Handoko, who also confirmed that the three others – Gala, Joddy, and the caretaker Siska Lorensa – were taken to Kertosono Nganjuk Hospital.
The crash is still under investigation.
On November 1st, Coconut Jakarta confirmed.
Joddy was charged with negligent driving under Indonesia’s Traffic and Road Transport Law, which carries a maximum sentence of six years in prison, after he allegedly recorded a video and shared it on Instagram while driving.
Prior to filing charges, authorities stated that the weather conditions were clear…
