RIVERDALE fans have been left stunned by hunky KJ Apa’s lockdown transformation as he showed off his striking new look in a topless video.
The actor – who has red hair and usually clean shaven in the hit Netflix show – has a full beard in the clip and sports dark brown locks.
He appears shirtless and pulls out his best dance moves to Stunnin’ by Curtis Waters in the video.
KJ Apa captioned the post: “Can’t stop will NOT stop”.
The star sent fans wild last week by joining the social media platform under the name ‘Fifiisqueen’.
One Twitter user wrote: “KJ Apa’s beard is the best thing that’s happened in 2020”.
Another added: “KJ Apa grew that beard and won’t stop feeling himself”.
Production on Riverdale was halted back in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In June, British Columbia’s CreativeBC arm revealed a set of guidelines production would have to follow if they are to resume filming in Canada, where Riverdale is filmed.
A press release read: “Employers are required to develop a COVID-19 Safety Plan that outlines the policies, guidelines, and procedures they have put in place to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
“This plan follows the six steps outlined on COVID-19 and returning to safe operation
“Employers must involve frontline workers, joint health and safety committees, and supervisors in identifying protocols for their workplace.
“You do not need a formal plan in place to begin operation but are expected to develop it while protecting the safety of your workers.”
There are also travel restrictions and mandatory quarantines that have to be taken into account, as many crew members and actors will be returning to Canada from other countries.
