Season 6 of Riverdale has sparked a flurry of questions in our heads.

Even a shake from Pop’s Chock’lit Shoppe isn’t enough to quench our thirst for Riverdale tea.

Season five of the drama came to a dramatic conclusion this fall, with Hiram Lodge (Mark Consuelos) being kicked out of town and a bomb exploding in Archie’s (KJ Apa) home, but an action-packed trailer for season six has us wondering what’s next for Archie, Betty (Lili Reinhart), Veronica (Camila Mendes), and Jughead (Cole Sprouse).

While Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has teased a lot about the new season, including the fact that the new episodes will be “ghoulish fun,” we still have a few unanswered questions heading into the season six premiere, which airs tonight.

We’re not alone, as Sabrina Spellman (a.k.a. the resident teen witch from Riverdale’s neighboring town of Greendale) makes her highly anticipated debut in season six.

In the fourth episode of the season, titled “The Witching Hour,” Sabrina (played by Chilling Adventures of Sabrina alum Kiernan Shipka) will arrive in town.

What’s the deal with the new name?

The show and its social media accounts are rebranded as Rivervale for the first five episodes of season six.

“That’s just how things roll in Rivervale,” Jughead is heard saying in the trailer, referring to the temporary name change.

Will the early episodes of Season 6 be an alternate reality? Could it be connected to Cheryl’s curse at the end of Season 5?

Betty and Archie were ready to take their relationship to the next level at the end of Season 5, but before Barchie could do so, the two discovered a bomb that was about to go off.

We can’t help but wonder: How did Archie and Betty escape the deadly situation? Sure, they’re athletic, but fast enough to outrun a bomb?

Is it possible that Cheryl resurrected Sabrina?

Sabrina died at the end of season four, having sacrificed herself to save her loved ones, for those unfamiliar with the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which is part of the Riverdale universe.
