‘This Is Us’ Season 6 Premiere: A Timeline of Emotional Flash-Forward Scenes

This Is Us is a touching family drama with a strong sense of mystery.

Fans were on the edge of their seats in the first and second seasons, waiting to find out how Jack died.

The mystery surrounding the flash-forward scenes at Kevin’s house has piqued the interest of the audience since the second season of This Is Us.

The flash-forward scenes first appeared in This Is Us Season 2 Episode 14, “Super Bowl Sunday,” when fans assumed the social worker featured in the episode would be related to Randall and Beth’s adoption plans.

When an older Randall meets her for dinner on This Is Us, it is revealed that the social worker is a grown-up Tess.

The season 2 finale, “The Wedding,” shows future Randall and Tess preparing to visit “her,” followed by the season 3 premiere, “Nine Bucks,” which shows Randall and Tess leaving her office.

Randall calls Toby, who isn’t wearing his wedding ring, to see if he’ll be there.

Toby appears nervous, but Randall insists that “she” wants him to be there.

Toby, on the other hand, concurs.

In season 3 episode 9, “The Beginning Is the End Is the Beginning,” Beth is revealed to be a dance instructor who tells one of her employees that she’s going to see “Randall’s mother,” implying that the “her” in question is Rebecca.

Beth then exits her dance studio, bringing Pin the Tail on the Donkey with her.

In the season 3 finale, “Her,” Randall, Beth, and Tess all arrive at an unknown house.

Despite their current marital problems, the scene reassures fans that Randall and Beth will still be married in the future.

Toby then appears with chalk and informs us that they have arrived at Kevin’s residence.

“I spoke with Jack, and they’re on their way,” he says to Randall.

Kevin’s adolescent son comes up to Randall and informs him that Kevin is out getting food.

Randall then enters a room where an elderly Rebecca is lying in a hospital bed, with Nicky by her side.
