Many celebrities have grown so attached to the animals they share the screen with over the years that they want to take them home, and in some cases, they do.
In other cases, celebrities bring their pets to join them in front of the camera — we’re looking at you, Bradley Cooper.
Sophie Turner is one of many celebrities who has developed feelings for their canine co-stars.
The Mahlek Northern Inuit dog Zunni was left jobless and homeless after direwolf Lady’s untimely death on Game of Thrones.
Turner, on the other hand, had become so attached to her on set that she jumped at the chance to adopt her.
“I’d always wanted a dog as a kid, but my parents didn’t want one,” she told the Coventry Telegraph in 2013.
“On set, we fell in love with Lady, my character’s direwolf.
… We were aware that Lady had died and that they wanted to rehome her.
“They agreed to let us adopt her after my mother persuaded them.”
Meanwhile, Justin Theroux was determined to get pit bull Kuma onscreen after rescuing her.
In the remake of Lady and the Tramp produced by Disney(plus), he did just that.
In October of this year, he said on Good Morning America, “You blink, you might miss her, but she’s in the pound scene.”
On his Instagram account, the activist also shared his dog’s “thoughts” on the role.
