Jake Gyllenhaal’s Alleged Cat Account Reacts to Taylor Swift’s ‘All Too Well’ Re-Release
It’s difficult to imagine a Hollywood star having a worse week than Jake Gyllenhaal.
Taylor Swift, who dated Gyllenhaal in 2012, is currently dominating the news cycle with the re-release of her album Red (Taylor’s Version), which includes a new 10-minute version of the song “All Too Well,” which is a harrowing look into their doomed relationship.
Swift debuted her new version of the song on Saturday Night Live, as well as a new short film directed by her that stars Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien as thinly veiled versions of the former couple.
Gyllenhaal has yet to respond to the backlash that has erupted since the music was released, but a cat Instagram account that he is said to run has made a couple of posts about it.
Ms., according to BuzzFeed,
Fluffle Stiltskin is said to be Gyllenhaal’s cat and the account’s administrator.
“MEOUCH – y’all need to calm down and stop cyber bullying,” the account said in a November post.
16, which could be interpreted as a rebuttal to Swifties’ harsh criticism of Gyllenhaal since the album’s release.
FLUFFLE STILT SKIN (@ms.flufflestiltskin) shared this.
The owner of the Fluffle Stiltskin account, however, denied that Gyllenhaal was behind it, claiming that the actor does not own a cat.
“So let me see if I’ve got this straight.. humans use the internet to send me messages thinking I’m Jake’s cat, but they don’t use the same internet to figure out that Jake doesn’t have a cat,” the account wrote on Nov.
“I’m not going to lie, I’m worried about the species’ future.”
Gyllenhaal hasn’t spoken publicly about “All Too Well” yet, and Swift hasn’t explicitly named him as the subject of the song.
According to an E! News report, Gyllenhaal is completely unconcerned about the song, the new music video, or any fan speculation.
“Jake has no interest in any of it,” a source close to Gyllenhaal said, hoping this doesn’t enrage fans even more.
“He isn’t interested in gossip and doesn’t read it.
He is living his life and is solely concerned with himself.
He’s oblivious to the din.”
