IT will take some effort – and more organisation than normal. But with almost every short-haul option for quarantine-free sunshine off the cards, we need to look further afield for a vitamin D blast.
A Covid-19 test will probably be required before leaving, and perhaps a few days stuck in your hotel at the other end, but the Caribbean is OPEN to visitors. And these five fab favourites are all quarantine-free when you return.
With airlines and holiday operators desperate for us to travel long-haul this winter, prices are down and the rewards are obvious.

No quarantine on return to UK. Travel permitted only to approved hotels and lodgings.
Arrivals from the UK must have a negative Covid-19 test taken up to 72 hours before arrival. They will then need to take a second test, free of charge, at a government healthcare facility or for a fee at a private facility, four or five days after the first test was taken in the UK.
While they await the results, usually returned overnight, travellers must stay IN THEIR ROOM at their approved and designated hotel.
While not ideal, it will probably mean just a day or two in your room in Barbados. With this in mind, choosing a room with a balcony or terrace is essential.
