The Rock does not want to wrestle Roman Reigns at WWE WrestleMania, according to Reigns.
On Wednesday night, Jimmy Fallon asked WWE’s Roman Reigns about the big rumors that “The Tribal Chief” might be stepping into the ring for a match with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson at a future WrestleMania.
“I would,” Reigns responded.
I’m not sure if he wants it, but it’s there.
In terms of sports entertainment, WWE, and professional wrestling, it’s something we do in our family.
This is our business, our family’s platform.
About a year ago, I had a fight with one of my Uso cousins, Jey Uso, and what better place to solve problems than the squared circle?”
Given that it’s the 25th anniversary of The Rock’s debut in a WWE ring, Fallon asked Reigns about rumors that Johnson might make an appearance at Survivor Series this Sunday.
“It’s not what I’ve heard,” Reigns said when asked if he had heard the rumors.
Johnson recently spoke with ComicBook about the rumors of a match with Reigns, which he has previously stated he would be interested in.
“The People’s Champ” stated that he would most likely not return to WWE for another championship run, but he left the possibility of a dream match open.
“It appears that Roman, you know, I’m very close with Roman, and we talk about this all the time, and I continue to encourage him to keep doing what he’s doing, keep sharpening those skills,” Johnson said.
“I think his promo, execution, and in-ring work are all excellent.”
Everything is getting better and better.
And the best part of professional wrestling, in my opinion, is that when someone is anointed and given the ball to run with, they either score a touchdown or they don’t.
However, some people use it to not only score a touchdown, but also to change the way the game is played.
And in Roman’s case, he’s doing it gradually, and you might be able to read the tea leaves.
And, once again, I’m incredibly proud of him.
I admire everything he does.
Everything the Usos do appeals to me.
I like what they’re doing together, and we’ll see what happens later.”
Do you think a Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar match would be a good match?
If a Rock match takes place at WrestleMania, will it be in Dallas next year or in Los Angeles in 2023?
