Thanks to his role as Santa Claus in Netflix’s 2018 hit The Christmas Chronicles, Kurt Russell has a whole new generation of fans.

The Christmas Chronicles 2 gave his longtime partner Goldie Hawn a bigger role as Mrs. Claus in the sequel.

Claus is a character in the story.

Despite the fact that Thanksgiving is still a few days away, both films are already climbing Netflix’s US charts in the lead up to Christmas.

The Christmas Chronicles is currently ranked No. 4 on Netflix’s top children’s titles chart, with The Christmas Chronicles 2 coming in at No. 6.

Families can watch a few more Russell films after they’ve seen those two.

Poseidon, a 2006 disaster film, and Stargate, a 1994 science-fiction film, are both available.

The Hateful Eight, directed by Quentin Tarantino, is still available on Netflix, but it’s not for kids.
