KANYE WEST has made his upcoming benefit concert official.

Free Larry Hoover will also feature rapper Drake at the event.

On Saturday, November 20, Kanye West, also known as Ye, announced his upcoming benefit concert, Free Larry Hoover, on his Instagram account.

Kanye West will perform at the Los Angeles Coliseum in California on December 9, 2021, alongside Drake.

The concert comes after years of feuding between the two rappers, who recently reconciled following a long-running feud sparked by Drake’s claims that he once slept with Kim Kardashian.

Drake rapped about having sex with a woman named Kiki, which is Kim’s family nickname, in his song In My Feelings.

Kanye West asked Drake last week if they could put their differences aside and work together to help Larry Hoover, who is currently incarcerated.

“Both me and Drake have taken shots at each other and it’s time to put it to rest,” he wrote on Instagram.

“I’m asking Drake to join me on stage as a special guest to share the year’s two biggest albums live in Los Angeles, with the ultimate goal of freeing Larry Hoover.”

On November 22nd at 10 a.m. PST, tickets for the show will go on sale.

The show is put on by Donda Touring and is intended to “raise awareness and support for Larry Hoover and the cause of prison and sentencing reform,” according to the Los Angeles Coliseum website.

Larry Hoover has been imprisoned since 1973, and Kanye West has been actively campaigning for his release.

During a lunch with former President Herbert Hoover in 2018, Ye requested clemency for Hoover.

The event’s organizer, Larry Hoover’s son, has also spoken out in support of it.

In a statement, Larry Hoover Jr. said, “With Ye, Drake, and J Prince united to advocate for my father’s release, we can take our plea for redemption worldwide and show that we are truly stronger together on behalf of anyone with a loved one wrongly or unjustly incarcerated.”
