Dr Li-Meng Yan claims to have evidence that coronavirus was created in a Chinese lab

The deadly virus first emerged in China last year

A Chinese whistleblower claims she has proof that the coronavirus was created in a lab in Wuhan – after previously claiming Beijing had covered up the outbreak.

Dr Meng-Yan featured on Loose Women on Friday where she offered even more information about the virus.

And she claims a supervisor even told her “we will get in trouble” if they spoke out over the deadly virus.

“I will (use this) evidence to tell people why this has come from the lab in China, why they are the ones who made it.

She said: “The genome sequence is like a human fingerprint. Based on this you can identify these things.

Dr Meng-Yan escaped to the USA from Hony Kong earlier this year amid allegations that Beijing had attempted to silence her.

“Anyone, even if you have no biology knowledge, will be able to read it, and check and identify and verify it yourself.”

She explained that Chinese authorities had tried to discredit her before she had even escaped China to tell her version of events.

She had previously suggested the virus had escaped from a People’s Liberation Army (PLA) facility.

She claimed: “They deleted all my information and also they told people to spread rumours about me.

“They will try to control my family and friends and then suddenly I don’t exist.”

“That I’m a liar, I don’t know anything, I just killed a hamster in the lab.
