UK sex festival cancelled as social distancing will make orgies impossible – Latest News

Aurora Lifestyle Festival organisers admitted they couldn’t give punters what they were looking for due to social distancing guidelines.

The Covid-19 pandemic means the team behind UK’s Aurora Lifestyle Festival have had to make the tough decision, leaving fans devastated.

Fans and festival-goers have been left devastated after the team behind Aurora Lifestyle Festival announced it will not be going ahead. The event will return “bigger and fresher” in 2021

Organisers did not want to create a “poor replica” of the popular event this year

Organisers have promised to return next year with an even bigger event

Hundreds of kinky couples had been set to go to a secret location in Worcestershire between Thursday and Sunday.

Europe’s biggest swingers’ sex festival has been forced to cancel after organisers admitted being limited by coronavirus social distancing rules.

In a statement, the team said they were not prepared to offer a “poor replica” of the event, reports Mirror Online.

A statement on the festival’s Facebook page said: “We pride ourselves on providing the best, independent, Lifestyle Festival in the UK, giving our customers an experience to remember.

Devastated fans of the event – which had been set for its seventh year – have voiced their upset.

Previous events have boasted four-poster beds in the middle of the festival ground for festivalgoers to link up.

They said they hope to return with a “bigger and fresher” event in 2021, adding: “We apologise to all our customers, for any inconvenience this will cause but we do have your health and safety at heart.”

“We will use this time to look after ourselves and each other and see where this virus takes us.”

“We are not prepared to offer you all, an experience that is a poor replica that does not reflect the true essence and standards of Aurora.

Last year’s three day event boasted large sex hammocks and Wild West themed nights.

The location is a closely-guarded secret, but Mirror Online reported last year that a field in Malvern, Worcs, was set to host 2019’s event.

Another said it would make childcare easier, writing: “Our child next year will be older to leave him with grandma.”

One fan wrote: “Gutted to read this, but under the circumstances totally understandable. See you 2021.”

“We have luxury showers and toilets available, and for those self catering this year we also have washing up facilities.”

The event’s website states: “This three-day event will be working alongside ALL lifestyle groups, including LGBT communities, to ensure we deliver a fun and entertaining event for all.
