5.5-magnitude quake hits 55 km north of Peschici, Italy — USGS


BEIJING, March 27 (Xinhua) — An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted 55 km north of Peschici, Italy, at 1347 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 42.4429 degrees north latitude and 16.0468 degrees east longitude. Enditem
