5.8-magnitude quake hits southern East Pacific Rise: USGS


NEW YORK, March 30 (Xinhua) — An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 jolted southern East Pacific Rise at 21:35:48 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 35.3984 degrees south latitude and 106.0347 degrees west longitude. Enditem
