Aldi has announced a Bigger Daddy Steak is returning to shelves this year. The huge steak weighs 794g, or almost 2lbs.
The steak has been matured for 21 days to lock in all the flavour.
The steak will be on shelves as of tomorrow.
It costs £7.99 and can feel the whole family, although dad might choose to have it all to himself.
If an upmarket steak is required, Aldi has its premium Wagyu steak range.
Prices for Wagyu steak for sirloin, rump, ribeye and fillet start at £5.99 or 227g.
The Aldi’s Specially Selected Wagyu Fillet Steak costs £7.49, 170g.
Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi UK, said: “The popularity of Wagyu Beef has increased drastically as more people discover its mouthwatering taste and texture.
“We’re pleased to be able to exclusively offer our British Wagyu Burger range for customers to enjoy, whilst supporting British suppliers like Warrendale Farm at the same time.”
Or customers could treat themselves to a garlic pizza bread for 99p that tastes “just like Domino’s”.
The taste-a-like is in its Carlos Takeaway range.
