Whitney Dean (played by Shona McGarty) has been living in Eastenders for many years and this month, it seems she is going to face terrible danger. It comes after the young woman has started dating Leo King (Tom Wells), despite not knowing a lot about him or his backstory.

In a shocking festive reveal, Leo’s true identity is going to be exposed, but Whitney will still be left in the dark.

Sister Tiffany Butcher (Maisie Smith) however will find out, but will she be able to save Whitney in time?

Or will viewers be tuning into see another tragic death on Albert Square this Christmas?

In upcoming scenes of the BBC soap, Whitney will come face-to-face with a terrifying secret.

Viewers know Whitney has been in danger for some time because Leo is the son of Tony King (Chris Coghill) the man who used to groom and abuse Whitney when she was a teenager back in 2008.

While serving his sentence in prison Tony committed suicide and Leo, who is venhemtely angry about the siuation is convinced his father was innocent, and Whitney is lying.

With his claws well and truly into Whitney, will she realise the truth in time or are her days outnumbered?

Whitney is still completely oblivious to Leo’s intentions and believes he is the one she has been looking for.

In a bid to celebrate her birthday, Leo has booked them a night away in a hotel, but these plans will be scuppered when Leo’s mum turns up on the Square.

Michaela Turnbull (Fiona Allen) is set to appear in the next couple of weeks, looking for Leo.

Confused as to why he is in Walford, she starts asking residents whether or not they have seen him and word soon gets back to Leo.

Unhappy his mother has turned up, he tries to convince her he is ok and she doesn’t need to stick around, but while Leo is good at fooling Whitney, his mum will see right through his lies.

Unconvinced by his intentions, Michaela begs Leo to come home with her, giving a few home truths about his father.

While his mother is causing him trouble, it seems Leo has a more pressing matter her needs to deal with in the form of Whitney’s ex Callum and Gray Atkins (Toby Alexander Smith).

Concerned about Leo’s odd behaviour, Callum airs his worries to Tiffany, who tells him not to be so jealous, but she is left unable to shake a weird feeling about Leo off.

In a turn of events, Tiff rings her mum Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) who eventually tells her about Leo’s true identity – he’s Tony’s son.

Fearing for Whitney’s safety, Tiffany begins to panic and tries to call Whitney, but she doesn’t answer.

Is Whitney in danger? Or will Tiffany be able to get to her in time before Leo carries out his revenge?
