ABIDJAN, March 29 (Xinhua) — At least four people, including two soldiers and two perpetrators, were killed early Monday morning in an attack on a military post in Cote d’Ivoire’s Kafolo, near the border with Burkina Faso, security sources told Xinhua.
The attack was carried out in the early hours of Monday by unidentified gunmen, the sources said, adding that this is the second attack that the same military post suffered.
According to a preliminary assessment, four people were killed, including two soldiers.
So far, no group or individual has claimed responsibility for this attack.
In June last year, an attack on the mixed army-gendarmerie post in Kafolo killed 12 soldiers and one gendarme. Enditem
