Motorbikes’ collision kills 4 in central highlands of Vietnam


HANOI, Feb. 15 (Xinhua) — A collision between two motorbikes has killed four people and injured another one in Gia Lai province in the central highlands of Vietnam, Vietnam News Agency reported Monday.

The two motorbikes carrying a total of five people crashed into each other on Sunday night, said the report, with three of them killed instantly.

One of them died after being transferred to a nearby medical center.

The four victims were aged from 18 to 20 years old, according to the report.

Further investigation is underway into the cause of the accident.

In the first month of 2021, 1,233 traffic accidents occurred in Vietnam, killing 608 people, severely injuring 366 and slightly hurting 529 others, showed official data. Enditem
