TYSON FURY has revealed that “nothing has been signed” for a rematch with Deontay Wilder, despite the Bronze Bomber’s claims.
Tyson Fury will step into the ring tomorrow against Tom Schwarz in Las Vegas, USA.
It is the Gypsy King’s first fight since a controversial draw against Wilder in December 2018.
He was knocked down in the 12th round by the WBC heavyweight title holder but managed to get up after some consistent rounds.
Since the fight in Los Angeles, there has been speculation about whether the pair will agree to a rematch.
And the Bronze Bomber revealed another bout had been agreed earlier this month.
Footage has emerged, though, of the heavyweight giving his take on proceedings.
In the clip, Fury is asked about Wilder’s announcement and what would be different in the rematch.
But the 30-year-old looks confused at the news.
Fury’s revelation comes as:
- The Gypsy King sent a message to Wilder
- Fury had fans in stitches with dance moves
- Fury made a HUGE Wilder v Anthony Joshua claim
After an awkward moment of silence, he answers: “I’m not fighting Wilder, am I?
“I’m fighting Tom Schwarz.”
And he goes on to make a damning claim about Fury vs Wilder II.
“I’ve got no interest in Deontay Wilder,” Fury added.
“None at all.
“I’ve seen all of these rumours that I’ve signed a contract – I’ve signed nothing.”
The interviewer asks the Gypsy King to confirm he did not know anything about it.
Shaking his head, Fury continues: “Not that I’m aware of, unless someone signed it for me.
“And that’s illegal, so he sucks.
“He’s trying to get some fame off my back.”
This footage was shared on YouTube channel TMZSports yesterday.
“I’ve seen all of these rumours that I’ve signed a contract – I’ve signed nothing”
But boxing fans suggested there was a reason for Fury’s denial.
“He is ducking Wilder,” one viewer said.
Another commented: “Fury confirms he’s still running from the Wilder rematch.”
While a third simply added: “He’s scared.”
It comes as the Gypsy King had fans in stitches with his hilarious dance moves.
