1 civilian killed, 3 injured as blast hits Afghanistan’s eastern Jalalabad city


JALALABAD, Afghanistan, June 14 (Xinhua) — One people was killed and three others sustained injury as a blast rocked Jalalabad city the capital of eastern Nangarhar province on Sunday, provincial government spokesman Ataullah Khogiani said.

According to the official, the blast was a roadside bomb targeting a car in front of a government office, killing one civilian on the spot and injuring three others.

Without providing more details, the official said investigation had been initiated into the incident. Enditem
