5.3-magnitude quake hits off Papua New Guinea — USGS


HONG KONG, March 29 (Xinhua) — An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted 98 km southeast of Panguna, Papua New Guinea, at 0743 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 64.87 km, was initially determined to be at 6.9955 degrees south latitude and 156.0568 degrees east longitude. Enditem
