5.3-magnitude quake hits southeast of Loyalty Islands: USGS


NEW YORK, Feb. 15 (Xinhua) — An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted southeast of the Loyalty Islands at 21:21:05 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 23.2374 degrees south latitude and 171.2956 degrees east longitude. Enditem
