NEW YORK, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) — A 5.5-magnitude earthquake jolted 111 km W of Gustavus, Alaska at 21:52:05 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 20.9 km, was initially determined to be at 58.4399 degrees north latitude and 137.6481 degrees west longitude.
