A man was arrested for DUI after crashing into a central Pennsylvania police car.

According to police, a 36-year-old man was arrested for DUI after driving his Dodge Ram truck onto a Carlisle sidewalk and on the wrong side of the street.

Christopher Cole made a wide right turn onto Clay St., colliding with a marked North Middleton Township Police Ford Explorer.

The Explorer was on its way to N Hanover Street.

According to police, neither Cole nor the officer were injured.

Both vehicles were functional.

Cole was charged with DUI and taken to UPMC Carlisle for a chemical blood test, which he refused, according to police.

He was then transported to the Cumberland County Jail for processing before being released.
