Are any of last year’s cast members still together? Find out what happened to them all on Love Island 2018.

Are any of last year’s Love Island couples still together? Find out what happened to them all.

Although the Love Island villa was the beginning of many romances, not all of them ended happily.

The hope of a couple finding love and living happily ever after grows as the new series of Love Island gets underway.

However, as we’ve seen in previous series, the chances aren’t in our favor.

The most memorable couple from Love Island 2018 was Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham.

They instantly fell in love, stayed together despite the arrival of Fincham’s ex-girlfriend, and won the show.

Fincham, on the other hand, revealed that he and Dani were no longer together on his Instagram page in April.

“There is no easy way to say this, and it won’t be easy, but Dani and I are no longer together.”

We will always care for and love each other, and I mean it when I say that. I wish her nothing but happiness.

“We have some incredible memories together and have been through a lot, but sometimes things just aren’t meant to be. We tried our hardest to make it work, but it didn’t work out, and that is life.”

That’s all I have to say; a breakup is difficult enough for both of us without having to deal with it in public, so I hope everyone understands.

Zara McDermott and Adam Collard, as well as Kaz Crossley and Josh Denzel, both ended their relationships months ago.

As another Love Island couple’s relationship comes to an end, here’s how the other couples from the most recent series have fared since leaving the villa and when the show ended on July 30, 2018.

When Mighty voluntarily left the villa after her Love Island beau was voted out, she made a pretty big declaration of love for Foster.

However, when the couple returned to reality, footage of Foster kissing another girl surfaced.

While it’s unclear whether the footage played a role in their breakup, Mighty said she was “taking some time out from her relationship with Frankie to focus on herself and work opportunities” through a spokesperson.

Anderson had a difficult time in the villa after failing to find someone with whom she could be compatible.

When Knops arrived as a latecomer, however, everything seemed to change.

The two hit it off right away, and their chemistry earned them the runner-up spot at the end of the competition.

However, when their days were no longer spent sitting around a pool staring lovingly into each other’s eyes, they succumbed to the real world curse.

Anderson told OK! magazine that she hoped to continue her romance with Knops outside of the villa, saying, “I was hoping that when he came back [from vacation], we’d spend more time together and build a proper relationship outside of the villa.”

“It never happened.”

Knops, on the other hand, insisted that they were simply “incompatible for each other.”

After revealing that they were splitting up due to their “busy schedules,” Fowler and Crane discovered that maintaining a relationship in the real world was more difficult than it was in the villa.

When Brown and Brake went on vacation together not long after leaving the show, they showed a lot of promise that their romance would last outside of the villa.

However, just four months after their Love Island experience, Brake announced on Instagram that he and his reality TV co-star Ellie had broken up. “Just to inform you all, Ellie and I have decided to part ways,” he wrote.

“All the best!” I exclaim.

When Steel and Bird gave up their places in the villa in order to stay together, it was the clearest sign that they were serious about each other.

After a premature exit, the couple moved in with each other after making their relationship official during an appearance on Good Morning Britain, and everything seemed to be going well until Bird revealed that he was “heartbroken” to announce that he and Steel had broken up, just hours after they put on a loved-up display at a red carpet event.

“It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate,” Barton Hanson wrote on Instagram, reportedly inspired by Gwyneth Paltrow’s statement announcing her split from husband Chris Martin.

“We’ve been working hard for well under a year, some together, some apart, to see what might have been possible between us, and we’ve come to the conclusion that, as much as we love each other, we’ll remain separate.”

“However, we are and always will be a family, and we are closer than we have ever been in many ways.”

We are first and foremost the parents of one incredible hamster, and we respectfully request that his and our space and privacy be respected during this difficult time.

“We haven’t really conducted our relationship in a private manner, and we hope to be able to continue in that manner as we consciously uncouple and co-parent.”

Megan and Wes, with love,” the model and reality TV star concluded.

Neither party has revealed the reason for their breakup, but just weeks before the news broke, Barton Hanson accused Nelson’s Dancing On Ice partner Vanessa Bauer of breaking up with her boyfriend just as the two of them were about to take to the ice.

Following Barton-Hanson’s announcement that she was no longer with Nelson, the couple announced their separation.

“Sometimes things don’t go the way you plan, but you have to be grateful for the journey,” Crossley captioned a photo of herself and Denzel on vacation.

Thank you for everything, especially for re-instilling in me the ability to love myself.”

Denzel’s spokesperson later confirmed to the Daily Mail that the couple had split up.

“Josh and Kaz have sadly decided to part ways,” the statement said.

In this difficult time, they have requested privacy and are grateful for all of the support they have received.”

Love Island 2018 was won by Fincham and Dyer.

The former stationary salesman and the daughter of EastEnders actor Danny Dyer began dating just a few days into the new series and made their relationship official pretty early on.

Despite a few bumps in the road in the villa, when Fincham’s ex-girlfriend showed up, the couple stayed together.

Once they were out of the villa, they were able to fend off skeptics who believed their romance would never last outside of it.

However, when reports of a split surfaced in December 2018, cracks began to show.

Danny Dyer, on the other hand, set the record straight, explaining that while some of the claims were true, the couple was still very much together.

Fast forward six months, and the breakup was for real this time.

Fincham announced on his Instagram page in April, just a few months before their first anniversary, that he and Dyer had broken up.

In 2016, Olivia and Alex Bowen met on the show and married, making them the first Love Island couple to do so.

In 2016, De la Hoyde and Massey took home the second series of Love Island.

After having a son, they had a brief split in 2017.

When the couple announced their engagement in 2018, distance made the heart grow fonder for them.

After a year, the couple is nearing the end of their summer wedding preparations.

After meeting on the 2017 series of the ITV2 show, Dom Lever and Jess Shears married.

The couple recently announced their pregnancy.

Shears captioned a photo of herself hugging her growing baby bump with a picture of the ultrasound, “The best is yet to come.”

Thurlow had a lot of bad luck with love during her time at the villa in 2017.

All of that changed, however, when Jewitt arrived late to the party.

As the bomb disposal expert finally found love, the entire country rejoiced.

After 18 months, the couple is stronger than ever.

They’re even getting their own reality show on ITVBe.
