The vaccine, developed by the Jenner Institute University of Oxford consists of an adenovirus (the common cold virus of the scimpanz) emptied of its genetic patrimony, and deprived of the ability to infect, and filled the Spike protein synthesized, i.e. made chemically in the laboratory. The Spike is essential for the Sars-CoV-2 as allows it to come in the human cell. The vaccine has the function of stimulating the organism attacked by the Sars-CoV-2 for the production of antibodies against the protein and prevent the disease.
