Ethiopian train drivers finish training in central China

34 young Ethiopians have received railway operation training in central China’s Zhengzhou City. After training, they will work as train drivers at the Ethiopia-Djibouti railway.
The 756-km railway connects landlocked Ethiopia to the Red Sea nation Djibouti. It’s the first electrified railway in East Africa, built with Chinese standards and equipment.
