FRANKFURT, July 28 (Xinhua) — German stocks closed flat Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index down 3.38 points, or 0.03 percent, to close at 12,835.28 points.
The top loser of the blue chips was Deutsche Boerse group, a marketplace organizer for the trading of shares and securities, which lost 2.21 percent. Semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies and material manufacturer Covestro lost 2.11 percent and 1.55 percent respectively.
Aircraft engine manufacturer MTU Aero gained 3.29 percent, becoming the top gainer. Property companies Deutsche Wohnen and Vonovia advanced 1.54 percent and 1.41 percent respectively.
Multinational software corporation SAP was the most traded share with a turnover of 265.89 million euros (311.54 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
