RIYADH, July 14 (Xinhua) — The Saudi Arabia-led coalition said Tuesday that a missile fired by the Houthi militia fell in the city of Ma’rib, east of Yemen’s capital city Sanaa.
The coalition’s spokesperson, Turki Al Maliki, said in a statement quoted by the Saudi Press Agency that the missile was fired on Tuesday evening.
The Houthi militia continues to violate the international humanitarian law by indiscriminately firing ballistic missiles that fall on “civilians and residential areas,” he said.
The spokesperson said that coalition would continue to undertake all measures to neutralise the Houthis’ capabilities.
The coalition announced on Monday the interception of four Houthi missiles and seven drones that targeted the kingdom. Enditem
