In a cellphone robbery in Pennsylvania, a teen was shot and killed.

A teen was shot and killed in a robbery in Philadelphia early Wednesday over a cellphone.

According to NBC 10, Ahmir Jones, 18, was walking home with his girlfriend near Cecil B Moore Avenue and 17th Street at 2:15 a.m. when two men approached, at least one of whom had a gun.

According to reports, one of the men took Jones’ cellphone and shot him in the chest.

Jones was rushed to the hospital, where he died around 4 a.m., according to reports. He lived about two blocks away from where he was shot.

According to reports, the shooting occurred near Temple University, but officials claim Jones was not a Temple student.

There have been no arrests as of yet.
