AMBER Heard tells Johnny Depp to “grow the f**k up” in a secret two-hour recording where he calls their relationship a “crime scene”.
The explosive exchange between the couple was played to the High Court today at their blockbuster trial.
In it, the Aquaman star can be heard telling Depp: “You’re a f***ing baby.
“You are such a baby. Grow the f**k up.”
Depp then replies: “Because you start physical fights?”
Heard then admits she did start a physical fight – leading Depp to tell her he had to “get the f**k out of there”.
The High Court heard today:
She continues: “I did start physical fights, yes, so you did the right thing’ but goes on ‘what is your excuse when there’s no physical fight… and you still run away.
“You can still call me names. You’re a hypocrite, you’re a baby, if they give a taste of it to you, you f**ing lose it, but yet you dish it out.”
The heated exchange was recorded in September 2015 as the pair tried to salvage their turbulent marriage.
At one point in the recording, Depp can be heard telling his ex-wife he couldn’t “take the idea of more physicality”.
He adds: “And baby, I told you this once, and I’m scared to death of it. We are a f***ing crime scene waiting to happen if we don’t get our s**t together.”
Heard today denied ever getting violent with Johnny Depp – insisting she only “defended” herself when in a life-threatening situation.
The actress told the High Court how she would sometimes have to throw “pots and pans” at Depp just to “escape” him.
Heard, 34, said: “Johnny often put me in a situation where I was confronted with unimaginable frustrations and difficulties, often that were life-threatening to me.
“When I felt my life was threatened, I tried to defend myself and that started to happen years into the relationship, years into the violence.
“Before that, I didn’t even try to defend myself, I just checked out.”
The court was played an audio recording of an exchange between Depp and Heard, where he can be heard saying: “I’m not the one who throws pots and whatever the f*** else at me.”
Heard then replied: “That’s different. That’s different … that’s irrelevant, that’s a complete non sequitur. Just because I’ve thrown pots and pans does not mean you cannot come and knock on my door.”
She told the court today she threw things “only to escape him”.
Heard also claimed Depp threatened to “kill her many times” during explosive drug-fuelled rows.
The actress, who wore a white blouse and black skirt, is expected to spend three days in the witness box as she goes face-to-face with Depp, 57.
He is suing The Sun for referring to him as a “wife-beater” in a 2018 article. The Sun, supported by Ms Heard, says the term was justified.
Depp is accused of turning his “rage and frustration” on Heard when he “failed to control” his drug and alcohol abuse.
The actor “descended into physically destructive behaviour” – causing him to refer to his “drunken and violent persona as ‘the monster'”, it was said.
But in a series of explosive revelations, Depp has branded Heard’s abuse allegations “complete lies”.
And he called his ex-wife “calculating, sociopathic and emotionally dishonest” as he accused her of “building a dossier” of false allegations as an “insurance policy”.
Depp also accused Heard of pooing in their marital bed after a birthday bust up, which he says was the catalyst for their bitter divorce.
The star also claims Heard severed his finger during a trip to Australia in 2015 by throwing a vodka bottle at him and accused her of repeatedly punching him in the face.
He has brought separate libel proceedings against Heard in the US.
The couple married in LA in 2015 after meeting on the set of comedy The Rum Diary.
But they divorced two years later after Heard, who donated her £5.5million settlement to charity, accused Depp of abuse.
The case continues.
