Jordan condemns Mogadishu attack


AMMAN, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) — Jordan on Saturday condemned the fatal bomb attack at a checkpoint in Mogadishu, Somalia.

In a statement, Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Spokesperson Deifallah Fayez expressed Jordan’s condolences over the loss of life and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

The official reiterated Jordan’s stance that condemns and rejects all types of terrorism.

A total of 79 people were killed and 149 others injured on Saturday in a car bombing in the suburbs of the Somalian capital, according to Somalian government spokesperson.
