A TOP designer has created a £820 jumper that will have buyers in stitches – it’s full of gaping holes.
And some shops have slashed the price of the silly sweater to get them off the shelves.
British designer Jonathan Anderson dreamed up the tubular jumper for his JW Anderson label – partly owned by Louis Vuitton.
His website says of the crazy creation: “This tubular jumper with wide cut outs is ideal to layer over other garments, or to be worn on its own for a statement look.”
But stockist Farfetch is flogging the wacky woolie for £410 and tells buyers: “Why blend in when you were made to stand out?
“Ditch the ordinary! Featuring a ribbed crew neck, long sleeves and a ribbed hem and cuffs.”
Customers are told that the garment is dry-clean only.
There’s also a cardigan version for £850. Last night website Modesens was selling the cardy for half price.
The firm said online: “Life is too short to wear boring clothes. Crafted from wool in a laser cut design, this multicoloured tubular knitted cardigan from JW Anderson is the perfect choice to give your looks a fun twist.
For cool guys only. Featuring a ribbed v-neck, a front button fastening, long sleeves, a ribbed hem and cuffs and a short length.”
