Kellyanne Conway Bans Daughter Claudia From Social Media After Teenager Trolled Her Parents

Kellyanne Conway and her husband, George Conway III, have decided to ban their teenage daughter Claudia from social media.

Claudia, 15, has been sharing her liberal opinions on TikTok and Twitter. She also trolled her parents online, prompting them to have her delete her social media accounts.

“My parents are forcing me to delete social media so this is my last tweet. apparently, i don’t have a platform! it’s fake! love you all so much. keep fighting,” Claudia wrote on Twitter.

Claudia has over 126,000 followers on Twitter. Several reacted to her last post, and they have mixed reactions to her parents’ decision.

“Sounds controlling. What kind of parent silences their child?” one asked.

“A good loving parent.  There’s no way my kids would have been allowed on social media or their phones constantly. I paid for phone and internet.  My job is to raise,  protect and make sure they know they are loved. This isn’t your business,” another user responded.

“Your parents want to keep you safe and you’re still young, so respect their wishes. But never for one second let anyone tell you that you don’t have a platform. Your voice and opinons are valid and your platform isn’t fake,” @carly__bird wrote to comfort the teenager.

“She’s 15. Her parents have her safety and best interest in mind. I hate to say, I agree with them. Your parents aren’t your friends at 15, it’s because they love you. Focus on your friends. Social Media is a cesspool of garbage. Life is better without it. Wish you luck,” @GeePersists added.

Meanwhile, another user said she would do the same thing if her 15-year-old daughter would be attracting too much attention online. The netizen stressed that the move has nothing to do with politics, but to protect her because she is exposing herself to the online world. The Twitter user noted that Claudia’s parents will give her the opportunity to voice her opinion in a safer place and time.

According to the New York Post, the social media ban happened a week after Claudia trolled her parents. Apparently, she live-streamed their confrontation on TikTok. Also, in a now-deleted tweet, which many believe was directed at her dad, she wrote, “sorry [his]marriage failed.”

Claudia’s mom is an adviser to President Donald Trump while her dad is a conservative Trump critic.
