Kyle Rittenhouse fired a shot at who?
KYLE Rittenhouse was charged with murdering two people and injuring another during racial justice demonstrations in 2020.
In Kenosha, Wisconsin, the shooting of Jacob Blake on August 23 sparked a series of protests that turned violent for three nights in a row.
Rittenhouse, 18, was charged with the murders of three men:
On August 25, 2020, during the tense Black Lives Matter demonstrations in Kenosha, Joseph D Rosenbaum was shot in the head.
Rosenbaum has a three-year-old daughter who lives with him in Waco, Texas.
He died when he was 36 years old.
According to a criminal complaint filed last year, Kyle Rittenhouse clashed with a crowd gathered near a car dealership, and Rosenbaum, who did not have a firearm, threw an object that appeared to be a plastic bag at him and missed.
Rosenbaum and Rittenhouse were walking across the parking lot together and appeared to be getting close when loud bangs were heard and Rosenbaum fell to the ground, according to the complaint.
According to The Washington Post, Rosenbaum had bipolar disorder and was homeless, and had been released from a hospital earlier in the day following a suicide attempt.
After being convicted of sexual conduct with a minor in Arizona, he is said to have spent more than a decade in prison.
Rosenbaum’s fiancée told the Washington Post, “He wasn’t down there as a rioter or a looter.”
“I don’t know why he was there.
Every day, I ask myself that question.”
Anthony Huber, 26, and his girlfriend Hannah Gittings were among those who took part in the demonstrations.
Huber had spotted an armed man in the crowd, Gittings said in a CNN interview last year.
“He shoved me aside and bolted.”
Hannah Gittings explained, “I tried to grab him.”
She described Huber’s actions as a “heroic thing.”
She told CNN that her boyfriend opened fire on the armed man in order to protect her and others nearby.
Huber appeared to reach for Rittenhouse’s gun with one hand while holding his skateboard with the other, according to the complaint.
According to the complaint, as Huber attempted to grab the gun, Rittenhouse pointed it at his body and fired one round.
“He was an incredibly intelligent person, literally the smartest person I’ve ever met,” Gittings told CNN.
His family described him as a “hero” in a statement to a local news station after his death…
