Libya reports 71 new COVID-19 cases


TRIPOLI, July 7 (Xinhua) — The National Center for Disease Control of Libya on Tuesday reported 71 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the national count to 1,117.

Meanwhile, the center has reported 269 recoveries and 34 deaths across the country so far.

On Monday, the UN-backed government extended nationwide curfew for 10 days in further efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19, with some precautionary measures already in place for a time, including ban on public gatherings. Enditem
