Man Utd fans convinced Liverpool will win Premier League title – ‘Just too good’

Manchester United fans are convinced Liverpool will win the Premier League this season.

Manchester United fans took to social media to deliver their verdicts on Liverpool closing in on their first Premier League title. The Reds beat Watford 2-0 on Saturday afternoon thanks to two Mohamed Salah goals at Anfield.

Liverpool now boast a 11 point lead at the top of the table after 17 games, with Jurgen Klopp’s men currently unbeaten.

Should Klopp’s side lift the title in May, it would be Liverpool’s first Premier League crown.

And Manchester United fans took to social media after Liverpool’s win, claiming the Reds will definitely win the title.

One fan wrote on Twitter: “Congratulations Liverpool , deserved PL Title.”

Another said: “These are the games that champions win the league with, scrappy 2-0 when you’re not at your best, fair play Liverpool.”

“Liverpool are just too good. No questions about it, if they win the league it will be totally deserved. #LIVWAT,” another United fan said.

“It says so much about the EPL and how low it has fallen that this Liverpool side is winning every game and probably the league,” another wrote on Twitter.

Following his success against Watford, Salah was compared to Lionel Messi.

Salah backed up his goal from an impossible angle in the Champions League win over Red Bull Salzburg on Tuesday with another fine strike during the visit of Nigel Pearson’s side.

A swift counter attack saw Sadio Mane find Salah on the left, before the Egyptian cut inside and curled an unstoppable shot past Ben Foster with his weaker right foot.

Former Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole admitted at half time there was nothing Watford could have done about the goal.

And he said the finish from Salah reminded him of Barcelona superstar Messi.

“There’s nothing Watford can do about it,” Cole said on BT Sport.

“That pass there into the space is unbelievable but don’t underestimate that, the weight of pass there.

“He’s inviting Salah to take it on his good foot. But then it’s all about Mo Salah there, we saw him score a goal in the week which was just unbelievable.

“From Watford’s perspective as well, look at the amount of defenders trying to get back.

“I know they’re 0-0 at Anfield, give good credit to them, but the finish, that little touch he took there, most players haven’t got that composure, that little Messi touch, where you chop inside and just want to get the shot away.

“That little extra touch took it out so he could get his body shape right and just lift it into the top corner.

“It’s unbelievable talent and that’s the difference between the two teams.”
